MUMBAI: An explosion behind the Dharavi police station here on Friday afternoon left five people injured. The exact nature of the explosive material, kept in a small tobacco box, is not yet known, said a source at the station. Out of the five, three were in the emergency ward. “But now all are stable,” said the source. No arrest or detention has been made so far. A 23-year old youth reportedly carried the box, kept in a flowerpot near a temple, home out of curiosity and when he tried to open the explosion occurred. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
