Warm welcome accorded to Dattatreya

ADILABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Bandaru Dattatreya was given warm welcome at Basar, Bhainsa, Nirmal and Adilabad towns on Sunday during his Adilabad leg of the Telangana Sankalpa Yatra. He crossed over from Nizamabad at the temple town of Basar in the morning.

Talking to reporters at Basar, Mr. Dattatreya criticised the Congress Government for perpetrating backwardness in the district. He said because of the Government, the IIT that was to be allotted to Adilabad was sanctioned for Medak district.

At Bhainsa and Nirmal, he addressed road shows wherein he spoke about the injustices to Telangana and his party’s commitment to carving out a new State of Telangana on coming back to power.

The BJP president said the yatra was undertaken to generate opinion and assure people on separate Telangana. He said carving out a separate State was possible only through BJP.BJP district president Gone Shyamsunder Rao accompanied him.
