He was interacting with students of Manipal Institute of Communication at the Girish Kasaravalli Film Festival organised by the institute here. Mr. Kasaravalli said that after his last film “Gulabi Talkies” he was planning something new, but it might take some more time. Candid approachHe said that he had adopted a candid approach while directing “Gulabi Talkies”. He did not want the audience to feel that the characters were acting. He had used little movement in the film. People of the country had been conditioned to see a movie in a particular manner, he added. Vaidehi, writer, Varadesh Hiregange and Sunil Bhadri, professors, were present. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
