Boy drowns in pit

A 14-year-old boy accidentally drowned in a pit at Hayathnagar on Sunday. Kalyan Prakash, a seventh standard student and resident of RTC Colony, was trying to jump over the pit when the incident occurred. Residents later retrieved the body and shifted to OGH mortuary for conducting an autopsy.

Youngster killed

A youngster, Om Shanti Reddy, was killed after the motorcycle he was riding was run over by a speeding car at Shamshabad on Sunday. Reddy was a resident of Poolbagh. His friend, however, escaped with minor injuries, according to police.
