Ex-Chairman of APPSC passes away

HYDERABAD: Jagarlamudi Veeraswamy (89), former Chairman of the AP Public Service Commission and also ex-Secretary to the Law department, died in a private hospital here of old age. A widower, he is survived by his daughter-in-law. Born in Prattipadu village of Guntur district in 1919, Veeraswamy secured a degree in law. He worked in the Madras State Secretariat and later in the former State capital of Kurnool. –Special Correspondent
