Win for ACA Secretary’s XI

VISAKHAPATNAM: ACA Secretary’s XI won the D.V. Subba Rao Trophy by virtue of its first innings lead after the three-day match against ACA President’s XI ended in a draw here on Sunday.

Former Andhra wicket-keeper P. Prasanna Kumar gave away the trophy to A.S.K. Varma, captain of the winning team.

The scores: ACA Secretary’s XI 360 for eight in 90 overs and 244 for one in 57 overs (V. Manoj Sai 136, H. Vatekar 100 n.o.) drew with ACA President’s XI 348 for six in 90 overs.
