Public holiday on Wednesday

PUDUCHERRY: Public holiday has been declared on Wednesday for all government offices and institutions including educational institutions and banks including those in the cooperative sector in all the regions, according to an official release.

The announcement on public holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 had been made in view of the change in the date of Ramzan festival, the release said. — Special Correspondent
