PUDUKOTTAI: Acting on a tip-off, a special squad of Revenue officials on Tuesday seized 36 bags of fertilizer about to be smuggled from the godown of a Primary Agricultural Co-operative Bank at Semmavur near here to a private dealer. The team led by Taluk Supply Officer Rajendran intercepted a mini-van laden with Rs.25,000 worth of fertilizer, meant for distribution to farmers.
