Id-ul-Fitr tomorrow

BANGALORE: Id-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on October 2. The meeting of the moon sighting committee meeting held here under the chairmanship of Moulana Quadir Ahmed Sahib announced that the moon was not sighted on Tuesday up to 8.30 p.m. and hence the fast will continue on Wednesday and the Id-ul-Fitr “namaz” will be performed on Thursday. Consequently, the holiday on account of Id-ul-Fitr will be on October 2. — Special Correspondent
