Maitreeyee claims title

MYSORE: Top-seeded Maitreyee Bailoor of Belgaum won the Sub-junior girls singles beating C. Subashree 7-11, 13-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-4 in the final of the Sir M. Visveswariah Memorial State ranking table tennis tournament on Tuesday.

The results (Sub-junior girls’ singles final): Maitreyee Bailoor (Bgm) bt C. Subashree (SAI) 7-11, 13-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-4.

Semifinals: Maitreyee Bailoor bt M. Madhurya 11-5, 11-9, 11-9; C. Subashree bt L. Suhani 11-4, 12-10, 11-4.

Cadet girls singles final: Ridhi Rohith (PTTA) bt Shivani Poovaih (PTTA) 8-11, 11-4, 11-7, 11-9.
