CHENNAI: A brainstorming session on India as a brand was the high point of the recently concluded seventh All India Management Students’ Convention, hosted by the Madras Management Association and the University of Madras. The convention on the theme, ‘Building Brand India,’ attracted 2,700 students from 40 institutes across the country. B. Santhanam, managing director, Saint-Gobain Glass India, stressed the need to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit in the youth. S. Ramachandran, Vice-Chancellor, the University of Madras, said for the university, the event marked a partnership with the MMA for promoting excellence in management.
