Stampede death toll crosses 200

JODHPUR: The death toll in the Tuesday’s stampede at the fort temple of Chamunda Mata has crossed 200 — it was 147 on Tuesday — with more casualties being reported. .

“Some of the bodies were taken to their homes by the family members and the administration was not aware of it,” Kiran Soni Gupta, Divisional Commissioner, Jodhpur told The Hindu.
