River protection day tomorrow

KOCHI: The Kerala Nadhi Samrakshana Samithi will observe river protection day at Chalakudy on October 3.

Revenue Minister K. P. Rajendran will deliver the river protection pledge on the occasion.

District Collector V. K. Baby will read out the river protection message. A quiz competition for college students on the theme of rivers will be held, as part of the celebrations.

‘Jalatharangam’

Members of the M.B.S. choir will participate in Jalatharangam, a musical programme, C. A. Vijayachandran, general secretary of the samithi, said in a release.
