KRISHNAGIRI: The government has launched a soft skill (English speaking) training programme for tribals in the State. To impart training, the district administration has invited applications from reputed private and government institutions.

Those interested should have previous experience in this field. They should have all infrastructure facilities including enough classrooms.

Trainers should have the required qualifications to conduct classes.

The institutions have been advised to obtain the application forms with the booklet containing the rules and regulations from the Manager, THADCO, at the Collectorate.

The filled-in applications with all relevant details should be submitted on or before October 6.

The institutions should mention their experience in this field, if they had already conducted such training through THADCO, if so how many persons got employment after finishing the soft skill training etc., a press release issued by S. Nagarajan, District Collector in charge, said here on Wednesday.
