Fatally knocked down

NAMAKKAL: A fruit seller was fatally knocked down by a van at a weekly market on Tuesday. Police said Palanivel (42) of Varagur was selling fruits at the Pavuthiram weekly market, when a van hit the seller and a woman, causing injuries to them. They were admitted to a hospital, where Palanivel died.
