Saurav Ghosal ranked 39

CHENNAI: After his recent good show at the international level, in particular a victory at the Ornano International event at Bourdeaux in France, former ICL academy trainee and National champion Saurav Ghosal’s PSA ranking zoomed to 39, a six rung jump.

This is the highest world ranking that Sourav has attained till date in his budding international career.

In the women’s section, National champion Joshna Chinappa has improved her WISPA world ranking from 39 to 38 this month.

The rankings (Indians only): Men: 39 - Saurav Ghosal; 57 - Ritwik Bhattacharya; 120 - Siddharth Suchde; 131 - Gaurav Nandrajog; 164 - Naresh Kumar; 261 - Harinder Pal Sandhu; 272 - Parth Sharma.

Women: 38 - Joshna Chinappa; 54 - Dipika Pallikal; 171 - Anwesha Reddy; 199 - Surbhi Misra.
