Anand stars in Swaraj CC’s victory

Chennai: P.B. Anand’s six-wicket haul, which included a hat-trick, helped Swaraj CC dismiss Sical RC for 132, in the TNCA second division cricket league here. In response, Swaraj was home in 38.5 overs for the loss of six wickets.

Ramamurthy-Sridhar pair wins

V. Ramamurthy and A. Sridhar won the weekly pair bridge event held at the T. Nagar Social Club with a score of 60.58 per cent playing East-West. K. Arun Kumar and S. Ganapathy finished first in North-South with a score of 60.10 per cent.
