HYDERABAD: For those who fly into Hyderabad on official meetings and take the evening flight out of the State capital, there will be an additional facility. The working executives can take a short nap, a shower and possibly a quick bite too in the Slumber n’ Shower rooms to be opened in the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) shortly. Plaza Premium Lounge, a lounge management company which operates 21 airport lounges in seven international airports has bagged the contract. Though there are not many transit passengers in Hyderabad airport, the lounge is expected to cater to the needs of those flying into Hyderabad and take the evening flight back after official meetings. The lounge, located opposite the car park area and below the arrivals will have 24 rooms which will be let out in different slots of times. “The lounge will be of good use for the executives and women who fly into Hyderabad and leave by evening after their official meetings. We will shortly finalise the tariff,” A. Vishwanath, the spokesman of GMR group, the airport operator said. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
