SMV, VPHSS to clash for title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: SMV Model HS and VPHSS (Venganoor) moved into the final of the TDCA under-16 inter-school cricket tournament for the B. Mohan Kumar memorial trophy here on Tuesday.

In the semifinals, SMV defeated Nazreath Home by nine wickets while VPHSS scored a three-wicket win over Loyola School.

Nazreath Home 76 in 19.1 overs (S. Akhil Raj three for 14) lost to SMV Model HS 77 for one in 14.1 overs (Arjun 42)

Loyola School 122 in 26.2 overs (Vishnu three for 16, Sajan three for 21) lost to VPHSS, Venganoor 125 for seven in 23.5 overs (Vishnu 31, Praveen Ben three for 35).
