NEW DELHI: A day after a 26-year-old doctor was found dead in his Lady Hardinge Medical College hostel room, the police have ruled out any foul play in the incident. “Post-mortem on the body was conducted on Thursday and the report did not indicate any foul play. It is most likely a case of natural death. Still, the viscera have been preserved to rule out any possibility of poisoning,” said a senior police officer at the Mandir Marg police station. Dr. Navneet Prasad, a second year post-graduation student in orthopaedics, was found dead on his bed when the police broke open the door of his room in the morning. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
