Maaruthi and Ashwin on song for TNCA

Chennai: V. Maaruthi Raghav, who scored a century, and skipper R. Ashwin, who claimed five wickets for 31 runs, were the standout performers for TNCA on the second day of the inter-State South Zone under-22 cricket match against Goa for the P. Ramachandra Rao Trophy on Thursday.

TNCA made 406 in its first innings.

Badal scalps six

Left-arm spinner Badal Singh claimed six for 136 for Goa. Goa was struggling at 103 for seven at stumps.
