Meeting on child labour problems

VIRUDHUNAGAR: The Central Board for Workers’ Education, Ministry of Labour and Employment, organised a meeting on “Child Labour Problems and Perspectives” here on Tuesday.

Over 200 participants of National Child Labour Programme, mostly child labourers and parents of child labourers drawn from various districts participated.

The Madurai MP, P. Mohan, Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories, K. Manoharan, the Inspector of Labour, Virudhunagar, S. Vijayakumar, Regional Director, P. Moorthy, were among those who addressed the meeting organised under golden jubilee programme.
