Mehrauli bomb blast toll rises to two

NEW DELHI: The death toll in the bomb blast at Mehrauli on September 27 rose to two on Friday with 22-year-old Deepu succumbing to his injuries at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre here.

Trauma Centre Medical Superintendent Dr. M.C. Misra said: “Deepu was brain-dead since morning and passed away later in the afternoon. We were exploring the possibility of retrieving his organs but realised that it was not possible as there was extensive damage to the body.”
