Olympic medal winners honoured

NEW DELHI: Delhi Mayor Arti Mehra and MCD House leader Subhash Arya presented cheques for Rs.5 lakh each to Beijing Olympics medal winners Vijender Kumar and Sushil Kumar at Pragati Maidan here on Friday. The two bronze medallists were given a warm welcome at the function organised by the MCD. Gold medal winner Abhinav Bindra could not attend the function.
