Vijay Kumar, Rehan Ali sizzle

Bangalore: Vijay Kumar’s 158 and Rehan Ali’s six for 22 spell guided Presidency School (RT Nagar) to a 279-run victory over ITI Vidyamandir in a Boost Cup under-16 inter-school match here on Friday.

The scores: Presidency School, RT Nagar 351 for two in 45 overs (Vijay Kumar 158, Mandeep Singh 78, Arun Pandey 41) bt ITI Vidyamandir 72 in 20.3 overs (Rehan Ali six for 22).

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bidar 90 in 20.5 overs (Nikhil five for 30) lost to Parachute Regiment School 94 for one in 15 overs (Mujahid Ahmed 56 n.o.).

CKS English HS, Hassan 288 for five in 45 overs (Kumaraswamy 71, Kiran 58) bt Vidyanikethan School 259 in 41.5 overs (Nikhil 57, Pushkar 43).

Rohit scalps seven

S. Rohit bagged seven wickets and helped President’s XI defeat Combined City XI by an innings and 77 runs in a KSCA under-19 inter-zonal tournament match that concluded here on Friday.

The scores: President’s XI 347 for six in 90 overs bt Combined City XI 105 in 37.5 overs and 165 in 46.3 overs (S. Nishanth 87, S. Rohit seven for 61).

Bangalore City XI 203 in 59 overs and 56 for no loss in nine overs drew with Bangalore Zone 152 for two in 29 overs (G.C. Chiranjeevi 88).

Moffusil XI 248 in 76.4 overs and 15 for no loss in nine overs drew with Combined Moffusil XI 158 in 50 overs (Md. Sarfraz Ashraf 46, Ajay Patil 40, G.K. Vinay four for 47).
