RFO arrested

BANGALORE: The Lokayukta police on Friday arrested a Range Forest Officer from Shimoga while he was allegedly accepting Rs. 5,000 from an advocate. S.M. Harikantha, Range Forest Officer, who works as Plantation Superintendent in Karnataka Forest Development Corporation, allegedly demanded Rs. 5,000 from Lokesh Isur to stop digging of trench in Isur’s land. Mr. Harikantha was caught while he was allegedly accepting the money. — Staff Reporter
