Foundation stone laid for water scheme

Amalapuram: Minister for Small and Medium Irrigation Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao has laid foundation for Protected Water Scheme (PWS) with Rs.3.20 crores in Indupalli of Amalapuram constituency on Sunday.

The Minister along with Small Scale Industries Minister Gollapalli Suryarao launched PWS with Rs.9 lakhs at Edaraparthi village. Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi said that last year the district administration had given Rs.560 crores of loan for 25 paise interest and this year the target was Rs.950 crores.

ZP chairperson Ch. Venugopalakrishna, MLA Kudipudi Chittabbai, ZPTCs K. Venkateswarlu, Yalla Dorababu and RWS SE R.M.R. Dayal participated.
