Double for Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala bagged a double in the National Junior cycle polo championship held at Patiala according to information received here on Sunday.

Kerala defeated Uttar Pradesh 12-6 to win the boys’ title. Shafeek (5), Gigiraj (4) and Sadam (2) were the prominent scorers for Kerala.

Kerala edged out Chattisgarh 8-7 in the girls’ final. Kavya Lakshmi (3) and Sharnya (3) did the bulk of scoring for the winner.
