CHENNAI: The Indian Orthodontic Society will conduct a weeklong camp in schools from October 14 to sensitise students to dental diseases, its president N.R. Krishnaswamy said on Sunday. Talking to reporters here, he said 120 orthodontists from Chennai would visit 150 schools. Students would be screened for dental ailments, and there would be no treatment or surgeries. In some cases, letters would be sent to parents, advising them to go in for counselling and treatment. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
