Nine succumb to brain fever

Gorakhpur: As many as nine children succumbed to deadly brain fever at Baba Raghav Das Medical College and other hospitals here during past two days, official sources said here on Monday.

With this the total death toll due to brain fever has mounted to 325 since January this year.

A total of 45 patients with the symptoms of brain fever were admitted to the BRD Medical College hospital during the period, the hospital sources said.
