‘Minister trying to encroach DKT patta lands for setting up a factory’ CHITTOOR: The members of BC Sangarshana Samiti and farmers of Mordhanapalli, Kotha Gundlapalli, Noonevandlapalli and Mittapalli, Bangarupalyam Mandal led by Anna Ramachandra Yadav, president All India Yadav Sangam, Ashok Ananda Yadav, Jangalapalli Srinivasulu leaders of Praja Rajyam Party and Bullet Suresh president Modaliar Sangam took out a procession from Gandhi Statue on Prakasham Road to Collector Office and staged dharna before it on Monday protesting against Minister Galla Arunakumari trying to encroach the DKT Patta Lands of the farmers in these villages given to them 40 years back and issued pattadar passbook with the cooperation of the officers for her proposed Electrical Factory. They alleged that officers were surveying the land for this purpose. They demanded the authority not to take back the lands of the farmers for this purpose and deprive their livelihood. If the authority did not concede their demand the farmers will have no other go either to migrate from that villages or commit suicide. Then they entered the Collector office and damaged furniture and files as there was no responsible officer to receive their representation.
