First-innings lead for City IV

CHENNAI: M. Adithyan (88 n.o.) and M. Prasanna (51 n.o.) added an unbroken 124 for the fifth wicket to help City IV gain the first-innings lead against Combined Districts II in the TNCA under-14 round-robin cricket tournament.

The scores: Combined Districts II 155 in 52.1 overs (N. Jagadeesan 44, Raghav Viswanathan three for 25, M. Karthik four for 61) vs. City IV 159 for four in 40 overs (M. Adithyan 88 n.o., M. Prasanna 51 n.o.).

Combined Districts I 272 for nine in 90 overs (R. Saran 57, Atheek Fazal 28, Dhruv Davey 64 n.o., J. Deepak 51 n.o., A. Arun Anand four for 21) vs. City II 15 for one in five overs.
