‘Adalat’ to hear teachers’ grievances

BANGALORE: The Department of Collegiate Education will hold an “adalat” at 3 p.m. on October 20 at the office of the Commissioner of Collegiate Education here.

It will take up issues pertaining to placement and redeployment of teachers of bifurcated pre-university colleges. In a release, the Federation of University and College Teachers’ Association in Karnataka (FUCTAK) said the idea was mooted by Commissioner of Collegiate Education Nagalambika Devi during a meeting she had with FUCTAK office-bearers recently — Staff Reporter
