Chess meet for govt. schools

CHENNAI: The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu State Chess Association are to jointly organise a chess tournament for students of Corporation Schools and Government Schools (Tamil medium) on Oct. 14 at Hall of Chess in Nehru stadium.

Competitions will be held for sub-juniors (up to V std), juniors (VI to VIII) and seniors (IX to XII). Entry fee is Rs. 20 per player.

Only 150 entries will be admitted on first come first serve basis. Entries through respective schools close on Oct. 13. Call 25384477 / 25366464 or mail: tnchess64@gmail.com for details.
