First division hockey from October 10

CHENNAI: The Chennai Hockey Association’s first division league championship begins on October 10 with ABM Infotec taking on Iqbal Recreation HC and United Gym playing Morning Star.

The groupings: Group ‘A’: AGORC, Income Tax, Paramanu HC, Rajamanickam Memorial HC, Kottur Full Moon, Homely HC, The Hindu. Group ‘B’: Wesley HC, Friends HC, Divakar Memorial HC, Indira Gandhi HC, Coronation Youngsters, St. Paul’s, SDAT. Group ‘C’: ABM Infotec, Tamil Nadu Postal, AG Friends, Iqbal Recreation HC, HVF, MCC, Chennai Telephones, Star of Mackies. Group ‘D’: Reserve Bank of India, Youth Wing HC, Toranto, United Gym, Morning Star, Air India, St. George’s, Cathedral HC.
