Spice Tele, Spanco to form BPO venture

CHENNAI: Spice Televentures and Spanco Telesystems and Solutions have signed a memorandum of understanding to create onshore domestic business process outsourcing (BPO) company. The joint venture will result in the merger of Omnia BPO Services (a Spice Televentures subsidiary), Bharat BPO (an exiting joint venture of Omnia and Spanco Telesytems) and Spanco BPO Services. The new entity will provide voice-based back office and contact centre services to customers across diverse segments, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
