Wet start to Test likely

BANGALORE: Spells of thundershowers have been forecast for Wednesday evening, the eve of the first Test between India and Australia which gets underway at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Thursday.

It has been raining in Bangalore, especially during the afternoon and evenings, for the past two days and there were heavy rains in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to the Meteorological Department, the wet spell is likely to continue for the next 48 hours with cloudy conditions and thundershowers.
