Case against VCK activists

PUDUCHERRY: The police on Thursday registered a case against five activists belonging to the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi for trying to burn the effigy of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajpaksa.

According to the police, the activists, without getting permission, assembled near the new bus stand and tried to hold a protest .
