Review meeting held in Karur

KARUR: Collector T.N. Venkatesh conducted a review meeting with the officials of various departments here ahead of the proposed visit of Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin on October 13.

At the main government function to be conducted at Municipal Thiruvalluvar Playgrounds here, Mr. Stalin would distribute revolving funds and economic assistance to over 2,000 women self-help group members, open a new building and lay the foundation stone for many others.

The departments to benefit include Education, Public Health, Family Welfare, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, Town Panchayats and Rural Development.
