Dalai Lama admitted to hospital

New Delhi: Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama was on Thursday admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here following severe abdominal pain.

The 73-year-old Nobel laureate will be operated upon today (Friday), sources said .
