Land to be distributed

PALAKKAD: Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran will inaugurate the district-level land distribution mela at Town Hall here on October 12. Minister for Electricity A.K. Balan will distribute ‘pattayam’ (title deeds) to 921 people and land to 397 people. He will also distribute 28 acres of surplus land. Deputy Speaker Jose Baby will give away financial aid. The meet will be presided over by K.K. Divakaran, MLA. —Staff Reporter
