Condemned

Belgaum: Veerashaivas on Friday condemned the alleged remarks of the former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy against Shivakumara Swamiji of Sri Siddaganga Math in Tumkur and sought an apology from him. Under the banner of Akhil Bharat Veerashaiva Mahasabha, they also staged a demonstration at Rani Channamma Circle, which was led by Sri Siddaraj Swamiji of Nagnur Math and Sri Gurusidda Swamiji of Karanji Math. Mahasabha’s district unit president B.V. Katti and other prominent members of the community were present. — Staff Correspondent
