Property tax reduced

KRISHNAGIRI: Property tax has been reduced in Krishnagiri Municipality area. A resolution in this regard was passed in the council meeting on 29th April, 2008, and sent to the Commissioner of Municipal Administration.

The Commissioner of Municipal Administration has accepted the council’s proposal and reduced the tax for A Zone from Rs. 4.05 to Rs. 1.55 and B Zone Rs. 3.05 to Rs. 1.30 and for C Zone the present rate is unchanged.

The Commissioner of Municipal Administration in its letter dated 7th October, 2008 order for reduction of property tax has been received by the Krishnagiri Municipality.
