The President’s Durga Puja gift

NEW DELHI: Five cartons of apples from The Retreat, the President’s summer home in Shimla, were sent to the needy on the occasion of Durga Puja and Dussehra.

According to officials in the President’s secretariat, the five cartons were sent to Bachon Ka Ghar, Bachiyon Ka Ghar, Hope Foundation, Association for Advancement and Rehabilitation of the Handicapped and Arya Mahila Ashram.
