Water level

MADURAI: Water level in the Periyar dam on Friday stood at 117.8 feet (full level 136 feet). It had an inflow and discharge of 514 and 913 cusecs respectively. The Vaigai had water up to 49.38 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 692 cusecs and a discharge of 1,545 cusecs.

The Periyar-Vaigai credit stood at 3,362 mcft. Periyar dam recorded 4 mm of rainfall, Manjalar 9 mm and Sothuparai dam 3 mm.
