An unidentified man, aged around 40 years, was run over by cement-laden lorry at No. 1 Tollgate on the outskirts of the city on Friday. Police sources said he was sleeping on the roadside when the lorry bound for Tiruchi ran over him. The lorry driver M. Kathirvel was arrested.
