Open house meetings on PDS grievances today

CHENNAI: The Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department will conduct open house meetings to redress public grievances pertaining to family cards and the public distribution system.

The meetings will be conducted from 10 a.m. on Saturday at 14 locations in and around the city.

The meeting will be held at Corporation Middle School, Vathiyar Kandapillai Street (for cardholders/applicants coming under the Chidambaranar Assistant Commissioner’s Office); Corporation Middle School, 103, Ennore High Road, Coronation Nagar (Royapuram ACs Office); Corporation Community Hall, Raja Street, (Opposite Brinda Theatre), Perambur (Perambur AC’s office); 60, Sri Muthu Mariamman Koil, Sathiyavani Muthu Nagar Quarters, Otteri (Anna Nagar AC’s office); Masilamani High School, Nehru Street, Senthil Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal (Ambattur AC’s office); Corporation High School, School Street, Virugambakkam (Villivakkam AC’s office); Jai Gopal Garodia Government Higher Secondary School, 409, T.H.Road, Tiruvottiyur (Tiruvottiyur AC’s office).

The meeting will be conducted at the following centres: Pathipaga Chemmal Ganapathi Government Higher Secondary School, Old 54/95, Arcot Road, Kodambakkam (T.Nagar AC’s office); Corporation Office, 29, C.P.Ramasamy Road, Alwarpet (Mylapore AC’s office); Municipal High School, Zamin Royapettah, near Padavattamman Koil (St.Thomas Mount AC’s office); Government Higher Secondary School, Sudharsana Nagar, Madampakkam (Tambaram AC’s office); Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School, Manthoppu, Jafferkhanpet (Saidapet AC’s office); Corporation Middle School, Thana Street, Purasawalkam (Thousand Lights AC’s office); and Primary School, Bells Road (Chepauk AC’s office).
