Andhra beats Kerala

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra XI defeated Kerala XI by 12 runs in the three-day under-16 practice match at Siddhartha Medical College grounds here on Friday.

Andhra’s Bharani (three for 28) and Naren Reddy (three for 17), along with Kerala’s Navneeth (53) hogged the limelight on the final day.

Andhra 234 and 188 in 40 overs (K. Murali Krishna 41, Abhishek Mohan four for 59) bt Kerala 253 in 73 overs and 157 in 40 overs (Navneeth 53, Bharani three for 28, Naren Reddy three for 17).
