Ganguly denies making critical remarks

Bangalore: Sourav Ganguly denied making critical remarks about selectors’ and teammates as attributed in an “interview” published in a vernacular daily.

In a press release handed over to the media contingent reporting the first Test at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Saturday, the former India captain said: “The reports of my interview from a Bengali daily published in various newspapers are false.

“I have not given any interview of any sort to anyone and hopefully also in the future. I would request you to clarify with me before publishing news from other sources. — Principal Correspondent
