Four men trying to ‘rob’ people arrested

Bangalore: The Kamakshipalya police arrested four men who were allegedly trying to rob people near the water tank at Sunkadakatte and recovered machetes and a multi-utility vehicle from them.

The arrested have been identified as Shivaraj (19), Lokesh, Ganesh (19) and Sridhar, part of a seven-member gang allegedly involved in dacoity. The police are on the lookout for the others.

The Hanumanthnagar police arrested Pradeep (22) for his alleged involvement in the murder of 21-year-old cab driver Vinay Kumar on Friday.
